Zap is an app for everyday payments, built to make sending money via bank transfer as fast and simple as possible. If you’re new to Zap or just curious, here’s everything you need to know.

What is Zap?

Zap is Paystack’s first-ever consumer app, a fast, simple, and secure mobile app that lets you send payments via bank transfers in Nigeria with no delays and no clutter.

Zap is a financial platform and not a bank. Banking services are provided by Titan Trust Bank, a licensed financial institution regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Why should I use Zap?

Zap offers a better way to send money, especially if you use more than one bank.

With Zap, you can:

  • Send money in seconds with transfers that work fast and reliably.
  • Link multiple bank accounts in one app — no more switching between apps.
  • Track your transfers easily with a clean, simple interface.
  • Save beneficiaries
  • Use Apple Pay if you’re visiting Nigeria.

It’s everything your bank app does, but simpler, faster, and all in one place.

How do I get started with Zap?

Getting started is easy:

  • Download Zap from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store
  • Enter your phone number and verify it with the OTP sent to you
  • Verify your identity, create a secure password and complete the KYC process based on your desired account tier.
  • Link your payment method (bank account or Apple Pay) or fund your Zap wallet.
  • Start sending money!

Which currencies are available on Zap?

Currently, Zap supports Nigerian Naira for local transactions.

Can I link more than one bank account to Zap?

Yes! Zap lets you connect multiple Nigerian bank accounts and Apple Pay — all in one place. Instead of jumping between different banking apps every time you want to make a transfer, Zap brings all your payment options into one simple, reliable app.

Switch between accounts with just a tap, and choose the one you want to pay from — without ever leaving Zap.

What kind of bank accounts can I link to my Zap account?

You can link any bank account supported by NIBSS Direct Debit to your Zap account. Zap uses NIBSS to securely connect your accounts, so if your bank is supported by NIBSS, it can be added to Zap. Here’s a list of all NIBSS-supported banks.
