Introducing Pay with Bank Transfer in Ghana
Accept payments of any size directly from your customer’s bank account.
At Paystack, we’re always looking for ways to make it easier for businesses to get paid. In Ghana, Paystack merchants can already accept payments via cards, USSD, MoMo, and Apple Pay.
Today, we’re excited to add another option: Pay with Bank Transfer.
With Pay with Bank Transfer, you can:
- Accept payments of any size: Securely receive large payments that exceed mobile money wallet limits.
- Offer bank-grade security: Give customers peace of mind by leveraging Ghana’s national banking infrastructure.
- Reconcile payments in one place: See all your payments, from cards, MoMo, and bank transfers, in one unified Dashboard.
- Give customers more choice: Offer an easy, trusted way to pay for those who prefer using their banking app.
This new channel has been automatically enabled for all Ghanaian businesses, so you can start using it right away.
How it works
Here’s how it works for your customer:
- Select Channel: Your customer selects Pay with Bank Transfer on the Paystack Checkout form.
- Get Account Details: We instantly generate a unique bank account number for that specific transaction.
- Make Transfer: The customer uses their own banking app or USSD platform to transfer the payment to the unique account number.
The transaction is then instantly verified, and the funds are reflected on your Paystack Dashboard.
